american-lands-council-jennifer-fielder-mt-senateThe Mental Militia was proud to attend a presentation at Virginia City, Montana, by Utah Representative Ken Ivory, who was assisted by Montana Senator Jennifer Fielder. That event was sponsored by a TMMer, former County Commissioner and Tea Party Activist Dan Happel, who had invited me to educate myself by attending the important event. I was pleased to learn how deeply the American Lands Council had looked into the process of bringing Territories into Statehood via Enabling Acts. I learned about “Equal Footing Rules” which are in place to assure newly-declared States the same relationship with the Federal government as with all other States, going right back to the original thirteen States which ratified the U.S. Constitution. This is the kind of knowledge which Federal agencies do not want We The People to know.  I became an instant supporter of the ALC, and found a new perspective on the Bundy Ranch debate, in favor of Cliven Bundy and his cowboy friends.
